Clyde is almost three years old and has been in the shelter since July. He’s a beautiful black and white American Staffordshire Terrier.

“I am a fun, out-going guy looking for a great family to give me a great life! I’m a guy who loves to go on walks and because I AM GOOD ON LEASH, we can go on lots of them in a park or around the lake. I like to play in a yard so let’s have fun as you teach me how to fetch! I KNOW SIT and because I am treat-motivated, I’m sure to learn more! I APPEAR HOUSETRAINED TOO! If you are looking for a good boy who’s just looking to give love and get love back and make a family very happy, then I’m your boy!”

Clyde Davis is a volunteer favorite. Stop by the WCAC today and visit him. I’m sure they’ll be someone there to tell you even more great stuff about this sweet sweet boy.

Hi! My name is Royce because my foster mom says I am the Rolls Royce of puppies!

I am sweet to every person and dog I meet during the day, and in the evenings I love to snuggle up to watch a little TV. You may have noticed the cute way my tongue hangs out. I have to admit, I can’t pull it in all of the way, so most of the time the tip sticks out to the right just a touch. My foster mom says it adds to my cuteness.

I also have to admit that I have heartworms, but at my young age, they are probably not very severe. My foster mom says you will need to talk to your vet about treatment options if you decide I am the puppy for your family.

If you would like to meet me, please contact my foster mom at wakecountygreatdogs1@gmail.com.

Oh my, you have to love that grin.

“I’m a pretty girl and as sweet as sugar too. Must be why my foster mom calls me moon pie! She say’s I’m all that and I’m a great house guest.

“I’m house trained, Love to go on walks and say hi to all the neighbors and my kiddie friends. I live with my foster sister and “The Cat”! I love them both! I’m very polite with my sister even when she steals my stuff. I just wait for her to find something else then I get it back. I’m not a rough houser and I prefer to just play tug and chase toys. Squeakers are my favorite and I LOVE my octopus!

“As you can see from my pictures I like to be goofy. “The Cat” is fun and I like to push him with my nose until he swats me! I hang in my crate while mom is at work and I sleep there at night. Give me a little peanut butter in my kong and I’ll race you in there! I’m quiet as a mouse and don’t fuss at all!

“My foster mom says I don’t have a mean bone in my body and nothing bothers me.

“If you’re looking for an all around great girl- then I’m the one! I’m already spayed, up to date on my shots, rabies and micro chipped! What more can you ask for? If you’re interested, you can email us at WCACfoster@yahoo.com.”

Mac

Mac (WCAC ID: 102686)
Mac (WCAC ID: 102686)

Mac is a wonderful 2 year old male who is great with other dogs and cats. He is a shy guy and took a while to come out of shell but is a complete baby! He is very playful and enjoys running on trails and greenways. He is house trained and crate trained!

This 65 pound guy prefers to lay on you rather than next to you but will cuddle up either way. He will need socialization even after adoption especially with males (of the human species that is). He has never once tried to bite as a response to a situation that was uncomfortable to him (as many situations are uncomfortable this is significant) and will in fact cower from strollers, small children, bikes, etc.

Being that his first response is to get away, Mac needs a kind heart to help him work through his fears and continue to learn how to love life. While he isn’t the easiest case he deserves to know a good stable family who will spoil and dote on him.

If you are interested in learning more about Mac or to arrange a meet and greet, please email afureverfamily@yahoo.com and we will put you in touch with his foster mom.

Cheech

WCAC ID: 97955

Cheech told me a secret. His favorite word is “Go!” whether it’s for a walk or a car ride or especially if it’s to meet his new furever family.

His vital statistics – he’s almost seven years old, has brown and white fur, is a Boxer / Am Staff mix and weighs a trim 35 pounds. Kind of the “total package,” you might say.

Word from his foster family is that he’s just a terrific, easy-going, sweetheart of a guy. He’s well mannered and does great on his leash. Continued training will be much easier as he’s treat motivated and a fast learner.

“If you are looking for an easy-to-manage, all-around great dog, please consider meeting me – I’m excited to become your trusty sidekick!”
