ADOPTED just hours after getting her clean bill of health and returning to the WCAC (click for her story)
Mooseta is a four-month-old medium hair grey Tabby kitten looking for her furever family. We had the pleasure of fostering this little spitfire for a few weeks while she recovered from a nasty little cold. She loves to cuddle up on your chest for a nap on the couch but is also independent enough to simply find a spot to sleep the night away. With all that independence we were surprised by her desire to be a part of our pack – she really kicked up a fuss when we sequestered her to just one room.
When she came to us she did not like dogs and smacked both of ours in the nose for sniffing her. My Greyhound mix is persistent and now Moo gets along with both dogs. She doesn’t like being surprised by them and will hiss and spit, but she also loves playing with their wagging tails. We could tell she was starting to feel better when the spitfire side of her personality started showing itself with zoomie play, motorboat purring, and rough play with our cat.
She is available for adoption through the Wake County Animal Center. Click here for the WCAC.
