Fostering for your local shelter is hard and lately our Facebook foster support group has had to lift each other up quite a bit. So when the photo I posted last Wednesday came through, I just had to share it because of the emotion it exuded.

BK took Momma and her kitten home for the night. They were covered in fleas and she had to bathe them several times. Once everyone was clean and flea free, Momma zonked out in her cozy bed. Her baby was milk drunk when the pic was taken.

That is why we foster: It makes our hearts full when we see what comfort we have brought to those that were thrown away.
